Senior Test Automation Engineer Java

Makeitright Sp. z o.o. is recruiting for a project in the banking sector focused on Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software test automation.
• Strong knowledge of Java 17+, object-oriented programming, Clean Code, and POJO patterns.
• Practical experience with RESTAssured, JUnit 5, and Lombok.
• Experience testing REST API and SOAP/WSDL services.
• Ability to write SQL queries and test databases.
• Experience with integration testing, asynchronous processes, event-driven architecture, including Kafka.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins and/or Bamboo.
• Good knowledge of Git, Jira, and qTest.
• Experience reporting test results using Allure.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, regression tests, and defect management.
• Very good command of English.
• Ability to collaborate in Agile teams and communicate with stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Experience testing UI with Selenium or Playwright.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management solutions.
• Experience mentoring and developing test automation standards.

• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for API, integration, and data flows.
• Develop scalable and maintainable test frameworks.
• Create regression tests and integrate them with CI/CD processes.
• Support the Automation First approach.
• Analyze test results, report findings, and prepare test documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, Product Owners, and other teams.
• Utilize AI and GitHub Copilot to improve testing processes.
• Provide mentoring and substantive support to less experienced team members.
