PHP Developer (Regular/Senior)

Recruited by IAI S.A., part of IAI Group, working on IdoSell, a SaaS platform with over 8,000 online stores handling over 68 million transactions annually and 22 billion PLN GMV.

• Minimum 3 years of commercial software development experience
• Good knowledge of PHP 8.2+ and object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Experience with MySQL, able to write queries without ORM support
• Practice writing tests using PHPUnit
• Ability to work with APIs (REST, OpenAPI) and Git
• Ability to read documentation fluently in English
• Analytical thinking and requirements gathering skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with PhpStorm, Symfony, RabbitMQ
• Experience working with large language models (LLM) like Claude.ai
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization

• Realize short, well-defined projects within the core IdoSell administrative panel modules used by merchants daily
• Refactor legacy code alongside unit and functional tests to ensure cheaper iterations
• Make code more modular with every change
• Write backend code in vanilla PHP 8.2+ using parameterized MySQL queries without ORM or frameworks
• Occasionally compose simple screens using existing React components (not a fullstack role)
• Work with new API standards using OpenAPI and collaborate closely with Tech Lead, Product Managers, and QA

This is not a remote position; candidates must be ready to work from the office in Szczecin with hybrid mode (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
