QA Engineer-AI First

ANTYKWARIAT I KSIĘGARNIA TEZEUSZ develops a large e-commerce ecosystem including a sales platform, book purchasing system, backoffice, integrations with marketplaces, payment systems, and warehouse systems. The backend is developed using PHP and Sylius, with parallel web and mobile solutions. Their technology strategy emphasizes a Data Driven Organization and AI-first approach.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in application testing.
• At least 2 years of experience in test automation.
• Experience testing web applications and backend systems.
• Experience with API, performance, and load testing.
• Ability to create automated tests in JavaScript.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of REST API and tools supporting its testing.
• Familiarity with Git and code repository workflows.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, and Jira.
• Skills in log analysis and independent error diagnosis.
• Ability to design tests based on business requirements, acceptance criteria, and risks.
• Strong understanding of regression, integration, end-to-end, negative, and edge case testing.
• Self-reliance and responsibility for quality.
• Collaboration skills with developers, Product Owners, and business teams.
• Proficiency in Polish and English sufficient for work.
• Willingness to work hybrid model with 3 days per week onsite in Kraków.

• Ensure quality of the developed e-commerce platform and existing Tezeusz systems.
• Design test strategies for new functionalities, changes, and integrations.
• Create and develop automation for web and API tests.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and load testing.
• Build and enhance automated tests using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Playwright.
• Integrate automated tests and quality gates into CI/CD processes.
• Test critical e-commerce processes including product, price, availability, cart, order, payment, warehouse, and marketplace synchronization.
• Analyze errors based on API, logs, data, and component behavior.

AI-first responsibilities:

• Use AI agents to design test scenarios and cases, automate and analyze changes.
• Delegate parts of QA work to AI agents while controlling results.
• Provide AI agents with proper context, specifications, acceptance criteria, architecture, bug history, and dependency information.
• Design verification loops, checkpoints, and quality gates to automatically evaluate AI agents' output.
• Use AI to detect edge cases, potential regressions, and risk areas.
• Analyze code and specification changes to identify areas needing additional tests.
• Control quality of AI-generated tests regarding relevance, coverage, and resistance to false positives.
• Determine when human-in-the-loop verification is necessary versus automated or AI-only verification.
• Develop QA environment to maximize automation without losing quality control.
