Projektant Programista ds. Utrzymania Hurtowni Danych (Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, Ab Initio)

Upvanta sp. z o.o. is seeking an experienced and independent Data Warehouse Maintenance Designer-Programmer to maintain and develop data exchange systems with a focus on Oracle 19c databases and ETL processes using Ab Initio and IBM InfoSphere DataStage. The role is based mainly remotely with monthly office presence in Wrocław. The work is conducted in standard hours without night or weekend shifts.

• Practical experience in banking domain data structures and business processes (mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in Data Warehouse maintenance.
• Strong knowledge and advanced skills in Oracle 19c, SQL, and PL/SQL optimization.
• Practical experience working with Ab Initio (mandatory).
• Experience in production monitoring, troubleshooting, and diagnosing ETL process performance issues.
• Willingness to work in a shift system (morning/afternoon 8-hour shifts) and attend the Wrocław office at least once a month.
• Analytical approach to problem-solving and ability to work with existing code.

Nice to have:

• Experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Knowledge of version control systems - git.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Maintain and develop ETL processes using Ab Initio and IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Administer and optimize Oracle 19c databases, including tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL stored procedures.
• Monitor daily data warehouse feeds, analyze logs, and respond immediately to errors within standard 8/5 working hours.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve production and test environment incidents.
• Implement new business requirements into the existing data model, ensuring data consistency and quality.
