Software Test Engineer (Manual & Automation)

Infolet is an IT support company that has operated for 20 years, providing technology, experts, and full operational support including legalization of stay and work for international IT specialists. They work on projects requiring specialists in Java, JavaScript, C embedded, C++, PHP, mobile, software testing, network and system administration, among others.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with Java-based test automation and Selenium.
• Practical knowledge of SQL, Unix, and XML.
• Experience in API testing, including SOAP UI.
• Experience creating, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and MS Excel.
• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Higher education.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the banking or financial services sector, ideally with payment systems.
• Knowledge of Cucumber, JUnit, Spring Boot, or TypeScript.
• ISTQB certification.

• Perform manual and automated testing of IT systems and applications.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as SOAP UI.
• Analyze requirements, technical specifications, and other project documentation to define appropriate test scenarios.
• Document test results, track testing progress, and report defects using Jira and Confluence.
• Collaborate with Production Support, Test Management, Solution Delivery, and Business Analysts to clarify requirements and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, investigate, and escalate testing issues and project risks.
• Participate in testing activities within Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
