Full-Stack Software Engineer

esurance AG is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join their product development team working with modern microservices architecture, building scalable backend services with ASP.NET Web API in C#, and frontend interfaces mainly using React and TypeScript.

• MSc+ in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience building solid front-end applications with React (non-negotiable)
• At least 2 years experience building secure REST APIs with ASP.NET
• Comprehensive knowledge of web application architectures, especially microservices and cloud design patterns
• Demonstrated high technical ownership

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure
• Experience working in cross-functional teams using Agile practices and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Familiarity with TypeScript and AI support in SDLC
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluency in English (B2 level), German is desired but not required

• Design, implement and maintain modern React micro frontend applications
• Implement and deliver full-stack features including infrastructure using both ASP.NET and React/TypeScript
• Work closely with Product Owners to clarify feature requirements and ensure proper business context
• Ensure features meet the Definition of Done with unit, integration, and end-to-end test coverage
• Support incident response and production issue resolution
• Actively contribute to team knowledge sharing and coach colleagues in technical best practices
