Senior Technical Business Analyst – Data & Banking Solutions

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within financial services or banking.
• Expertise in data analysis and visualization using Spark, Scala, Hadoop, and related platforms.
• Understanding of cloud platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, and take ownership of projects.
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings, with strong analytical and logical thinking.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of HDFS filesystems, Unix environments, and Quantexa software.
• Experience with financial data systems and regulatory requirements.
• Certifications in data analysis or project management.

• Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements into functional and data solutions, using existing platform features or requesting new ones when needed.
• Explain practical solutions to stakeholders and foster clear communication and alignment.
• Work with solution architects to turn functional insights into technical specifications, including data quality assessments and coverage analyses.
• Document requirements, including business challenges, benefits, solutions, and expected outcomes.
• Conduct or oversee testing, coordinate with testing teams, and obtain formal sign-off.
• Support deployment and address post-implementation queries.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and validate deliverables before sharing.
