Join the client’s team to lead automated testing for a cloud-native order management system for airlines. You will build and maintain API test frameworks for microservices, using Java, TestNG, RestAssured and Cucumber.
Wymagania
- 5+ years of professional experience as an Automation QA Engineer / SDET.
- Strong experience with Java, TestNG and RestAssured.
- Expertise in BDD frameworks (Cucumber) and API testing (JSON, XML, gRPC).
- Experience with Postman, Bloom RPC, Bazel or Maven.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and the full SDLC.
- Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments with global team collaboration.
- Familiarity with containerized environments (GKE/Docker) and cloud-native testing in GCP.
- Experience in monorepo-based development and test frameworks.
Nice to have:
- Travel agency or airline domain experience.
Obowiązki
- Design, implement and maintain automated API test frameworks for cloud-native microservices in a monorepo environment.
- Develop and execute automated tests for new and existing product features, ensuring full coverage using BDD (Cucumber).
- Integrate automated tests into standardized CI/CD pipelines for regression and release testing.
- Perform manual and automated testing; validate defect tickets and verify fixes.
- Identify and diagnose defects, and work with development teams to resolve them quickly.
- Maintain technical test documentation and ensure the overall quality of test suites.
- Lead test planning and execution for complex, API-driven platforms.
- Monitor test execution and provide detailed quality and release readiness reports.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and update task status in Rally daily.
- Provide on-call coverage and support post-implementation.
