Wymagania

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Java, with strong JUnit testing experience.
Proficiency in React and associated unit testing frameworks.
Familiarity with Ruby scripting for step definitions and Cucumber for end-to-end testing.
Strong understanding of multi-threading, parallel processing, real-time messaging, test-first design, and CI/CD practices.
Practical awareness of cloud services, including databases, servers, storage, gateways, and hosting environments.
Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and documentation while maintaining code quality and critical thinking.

Functional / Domain Knowledge:

Familiarity with financial markets concepts.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and debugging abilities.
Clear communication of trade-offs and solutions to technical and business audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively in agile, cross-functional squads.
Curiosity and thoughtfulness in understanding requirements, impact, and broader context.
Product mindset, balancing immediate delivery with long-term maintainability and client impact.

Nice to have:

Ability to use JMeter or similar tools for performance testing.
Knowledge of the corporate actions lifecycle.

Obowiązki

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain features using Java and React.
Build responsive frontend applications using ReactJS.
Develop and integrate APIs and web services.
Work with relational databases, including Oracle and Postgres.
Write unit tests alongside code and contribute to the automated test framework using Ruby and Cucumber.
Write Ruby step definitions and create and maintain Cucumber feature files for end-to-end testing.
Write automated tests for features developed by other engineers.
Champion a test-first approach and deliver reliable, maintainable, scalable code.
Apply performance and scalability considerations, using JMeter for load and performance testing where required.
Embed instrumentation, configuration, and logging in code to support monitoring and support.
Analyse and debug issues using logs, and propose and implement fixes.
Collaborate in Agile ceremonies to plan effectively and commit to sprint goals.
Partner with product managers and analysts to understand what is being built, why it matters, and how best to implement functional and non-functional needs.
Build with a product mindset, considering client impact, configurability, and long-term supportability.
