The Platform team builds and maintains internal tools that help Cast AI engineers build, deploy, and observe their services. The work focuses on CI/CD, observability, and platform tooling, using Go, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Wymagania
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including designing clean abstractions, writing maintainable code, and justifying architecture choices.
- Production experience with Go is strongly preferred; candidates without Go should demonstrate strong systems programming skills in a comparable language.
- Experience building and operating platform engineering systems, including CI/CD and GitOps systems such as GitLab CI, Argo CD, and Kargo; infrastructure as code using Terraform; container orchestration with Kubernetes and Helm; observability and monitoring tooling such as VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Loki, and Tempo; and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with AI coding agents and agentic development workflows.
- Personally driven a complex project end-to-end.
- Strong debugging, optimization, and performance-tuning skills.
- Strong English skills, both verbal and written.
- Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity.
Nice to have:
- Kubernetes operators, Helm chart authoring, and admission webhooks.
- Internal developer platform design, including golden paths, self-service tooling, and service catalogs.
- Local development environment tooling such as devcontainers, Tilt, or Skaffold.
- Contributions to Kubernetes or cloud-native open-source software.
Obowiązki
- Design, build, and operate the CI/CD pipelines used by engineering teams.
- Build and maintain observability and monitoring tooling for debugging production systems.
- Build local development environment tooling that lets engineers reproduce production-like conditions on their laptops.
- Identify infrastructure-related friction for engineers and address it at the root.
- Debug complex issues spanning CI/CD, observability tooling, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
- Contribute to the platform roadmap and backlog, shaping what is built for the engineers who depend on the platform.
