Senior Software Engineer | Kimchi (Harness Team)

• Strong debugging, optimization and performance-tuning skills, including query profiling, index design and database performance tuning beyond ORM usage.
• Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry, as well as CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Adaptable, proactive and comfortable with ambiguity.
• Strong verbal and written English skills.
• Personally driven a complex project end to end.

Nice to have:

• Production experience with Go or TypeScript; candidates without either should demonstrate strong systems programming skills in a comparable language.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure, and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with harnesses and creating your own AI workflows.

• Own features end to end, from design and implementation through testing and production rollout.
• Work directly with product and other engineering teams on problems without textbook solutions.
• Architect planner, executor and evaluator pipelines, using a reasoning model for planning, a fast model for execution and a third model for evaluation.
• Manage agent memory and context, including state persistence across sessions, context compaction and tool-call offloading.
• Own the harness surface, including TUI, MCP integrations and telemetry.
• Work directly with users, including colleagues, to identify, understand and fix pain points.
