Monitor the AI tooling landscape and bring relevant ideas back to the team.

Modern and Legacy Systems

Develop, maintain and evolve applications across C#, .NET, COBOL, Delphi, PowerBuilder, FoxPro and WinDev, including bug fixing, new features and ongoing improvements.
Use AI agents to write, review and test code, and to analyze, document and explain legacy code, business rules and data flows.
Contribute to modernization initiatives, helping plan and execute migrations from legacy systems to modern architectures while ensuring business logic carries over correctly.
Help shape the design and architecture of the modern stack so it can absorb what is being modernized.
Build and maintain a shared knowledge base covering legacy and modern systems.

Development & Quality

Design, develop and maintain features across backend and frontend applications.
Write clean, maintainable code following SOLID principles and good architectural practices.
Take part in code reviews, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
