Podsumowanie oferty

Build the shared UI platform and customer-facing interfaces for Redpanda’s products, including Redpanda Cloud. You’ll move product surfaces into independently deployable microfrontends and build data-intensive web applications using React and TypeScript.

Wymagania

5+ years of experience building and operating production customer-facing web applications with React and TypeScript, including owning features or whole surfaces end to end.
Experience with large-scale frontend architecture using independently deployed pieces, such as microfrontends with Module Federation, single-spa, or native federation; understand versioning, shared dependencies, and runtime failures across those boundaries.
Track record of delivering well-scoped projects with limited guidance, from design and planning through execution and production operation.
Depth in modern frontend fundamentals: component architecture, state management, data fetching, build and runtime performance, and accessibility.
Experience with AI-assisted software development workflows using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot for design, testing, and diagnosing operational issues, as well as code generation.
Fluency with frontend testing, from unit through end-to-end, and a working understanding of what belongs in CI, pre-production, and production monitoring.
Good design sensibility and attention to how products look, feel, and behave.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; comfortable working in a globally distributed, async environment, for example with GitHub.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, design, and customer-facing stakeholders.

Nice to have:

Experience with UX for data-intensive products and services.
Experience building commerce or billing surfaces, including sign-up, usage-based billing, payments, and marketplace integrations.
Depth in one or more of: monorepo tooling at scale (Nx, Turborepo, pnpm workspaces); bundler and federation internals (Vite, Rspack, Webpack); design-system-to-code pipelines (Figma tokens, codegen, visual regression).
Experience with protobuf, ConnectRPC, gRPC-web, or react-query and similar data-fetching approaches.

Obowiązki

Own parts of the migration of product surfaces into independently deployable microfrontends, including moving functionality into remotes, versioning contracts with the host, and handling version skew and shared dependencies.
Design, build, and operate data-intensive customer-facing surfaces in Redpanda Cloud, from design review through release and production operation.
Build graceful degradation and fallback behavior for Cloud interfaces when a remote has issues.
Add testing from unit through end-to-end levels to maintain release confidence, keeping tests fast and trustworthy.
Contribute to the design system and component library, keeping components composable across independently deployed products and consumable by AI coding agents.
Write RFCs for your work, review designs and code, and contribute to frontend standards.
Work with backend engineers to align the UX with backend APIs and ensure information-architecture decisions work well in the UI.
Take part in the on-call rotation for cloud services and improve operational health.
Help teammates grow through pairing and code review.
