Podsumowanie oferty

You will work directly with client engineering and product teams to architect and deliver complex backend/cloud systems through production. The role also involves shipping LLM-powered and agentic components using Python and production LLM coding agents.

Wymagania

Proven background as a Software Engineer, having built, architected, and owned complex backend/cloud systems end-to-end.
Production experience with LLM coding agents, applied to production-grade software engineering rather than only experiments.
Hands-on experience building, shipping, or integrating LLM-powered and agentic components into production software systems.
Ability to remain effective as requirements, tools, and domain contexts change, and to take responsibility for the technical outcome from initial problem discovery through post-launch stability.
Strong client-facing communication: work directly with client technology leaders, constructively challenge assumptions, and explain architectural trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong Python skills, or deep experience in another major backend language such as Ruby, Java, TypeScript, or Rust, and readiness to pivot to Python quickly.
Fluent English (C1+) for collaboration with international clients.
A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is highly valued.

Nice to have:

Frontend experience with React or Vue, and cloud and infrastructure experience with AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
A history of contributions to open-source tools or libraries.

Obowiązki

Work directly alongside client engineering and product teams on business requirements, architect solutions, and own delivery through to production.
Drive complex system development with coding agents as the core delivery engine, manage context, break architectural specifications into agent-executable tasks, and run work in parallel under strict quality control.
Critically review generated implementations, design tests, evaluations, and runtime checks to catch edge cases and silent failures, and maintain a high bar for security, performance, and maintainability.
Make foundational design decisions on data models, integration boundaries, security parameters, and trade-offs, and document them for human and synthetic contributors.
Share proven workflows, evaluation methods, and agent orchestration patterns with the engineering team, and contribute to Upside’s open-source frameworks.

Benefity

The tooling stack is fully covered, including Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and any tool that increases your velocity or sharpness.

Inne informacje

The position is Kraków-first and can be hybrid or remote from anywhere in Poland.
