You will test and support the delivery of software in the cybersecurity domain, working within HSBC’s Global Cybersecurity (CSAT) function. The role focuses on manual testing, REST APIs and quality assurance in an agile, DevSecOps environment.

Wymagania

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Manual Tester within an agile software development environment.
Strong knowledge of software testing theory and experience testing web applications and REST APIs.
Proven ability to design and execute regression, performance, and functional tests.
Experience defining Agile delivery artifacts such as epics, stories, and tasks.
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage workshops independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Agile/DevSecOps tools (Jira, Confluence, Git).
Fluent English (spoken, read, and written).
Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of API development, REST/HTTP protocols, and application logs for triaging.
Familiarity with testing tools such as QTest, Tricentis, and Zephyr, and with governance, risk, and compliance processes.

Nice to have:

Experience delivering process flow diagrams and process improvements.
Knowledge of vulnerability and application security scanning tools (SAST, MAST, DAST).
ISTQB certification, UML diagram experience, or performance testing expertise.
SQL skills for backend validation.

Obowiązki

Main responsibilities:

Manage backlogs and define new requests with product owners, including creating clear and testable acceptance criteria.
Drive testing phases and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.
Develop and maintain manual test artifacts, metrics, and environments aligned with project objectives.
Participate in the creation of test strategies and plans covering application components.
Provide detailed test scenarios supporting automation and performance testing initiatives.
Analyze application logs to identify exceptions, perform initial triage, and report bugs.
Collaborate with teams to achieve consensus and progress on testing deliverables.
