Develop end-to-end monitoring for the data platform’s infrastructure, including Trino, Kubernetes, databases, Apache Ozone and Hadoop. Implement DORA metrics collection, build service-health dashboards and improve alerting.

Wymagania

Knowledge of Python; Go/JS is a plus.
Experience as an SRE or monitoring engineer, with an emphasis on infrastructure reliability rather than product feature development.
Deep knowledge of the Prometheus stack, including Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager, writing complex PromQL queries, and addressing alert fatigue.
Practical understanding of SLI/SLO/SLA concepts, error budgets, and the methodology for collecting DORA metrics.
Experience with containerization (Kubernetes) and databases, and the ability to quickly grasp metrics of distributed systems (Hadoop, Trino).
Ability to translate abstract system behaviors and logs into clear, structured, and actionable metrics.
