At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer in a SaaS or API-first product environment.
Native or first-language English fluency.
Ability to maintain and apply a product glossary, enforce naming conventions across documentation surfaces and flag terminology drift.
Hands-on experience with a documentation CMS, such as ReadMe, GitBook, Stoplight or MadCap Flare.
Experience with Markdown and a Git-based documentation workflow, including branching, pull requests and merging.
Experience with Postman for API testing, building and maintaining collections, and verifying request and response behaviour.
Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger, including reading and interpreting specifications, identifying schema changes, and documenting API behaviour for developers.
Experience with JSON, including interpreting API request and response structures, identifying field-level changes and using JSON examples in documentation.
Experience documenting REST APIs or NDC-based airline APIs.
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for feature tracking and documentation planning.
Proficiency in Figma for reviewing product designs and creating annotated screenshots and screen assets.
Experience creating training videos or screencasts to complement written documentation.
Comfort working in an agile delivery environment across multiple squads.
Proactive communication, attention to detail, self-organisation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to manage stakeholder relationships across engineering, product and QA teams, and ask questions when scope or content is unclear.
Adaptability when priorities shift, scope changes during a cycle or delivery pressure arises.
Curiosity about complex technical domains and how they work.
