Podsumowanie oferty

Join the backend engineering team in the Content Catalog domain, working on systems that manage content and make it available. You’ll improve how these systems work together, their architecture, reliability, and maintainability, using Java, Scala, Go, or a similar backend language.

Wymagania

Solid experience building and operating backend services and APIs in production at scale.
Proficiency in a backend language such as Java, Scala, Go, or similar.
Understanding of API design, schema evolution, and backward compatibility in systems where stability matters.
Comfort modelling data for auditability, versioning, and efficient querying.
Experience with data pipelines and understanding of the tradeoffs between real-time and batch processing.
Ability to navigate unfamiliar codebases, ramp up in new domains, and contribute without owning all the context from day one.
Careful consideration of downstream impacts, including policy logic, enforcement decisions, and regulatory reporting.
Experience in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments, or interest in developing that experience.
Ability to collaborate across teams, build trust with new groups, and communicate technical decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Comfort with ambiguity and identifying impactful work when it is not fully defined.

Obowiązki

Work with product managers and partners to understand user needs, clarify requirements, and agree scope, responsibilities, and a delivery plan.
Communicate technical approaches, tradeoffs, progress, and risks to technical and non-technical audiences.
Explore backend services, APIs, and data flows; design, implement, and test improvements that meet product needs and support reliable, maintainable systems.
Coordinate migrations, integrations, or service improvements across teams, managing dependencies and preserving continuity for users.
Evaluate changes through testing, monitoring, and production feedback, and share documentation and knowledge to support ongoing ownership.
