As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will model, transform, test and validate data to provide clean datasets for internal decision-making and customer insights on Fresha’s platform for the beauty and wellness industry. Working mainly with product and finance teams, you will build dimensional data models and ELT pipelines, and use SQL and dbt to support product and financial analysis.

Wymagania

Working fluency in English.
Excellent knowledge of SQL and a solid understanding of data modeling concepts.
Deep familiarity with mature dbt projects across the development and deployment lifecycle.
Experience with people management and organising and unblocking work.
Understanding of data warehousing systems, cost drivers, configurations, security and access controls.
Ability to identify how to apply AI tools to development, analysis and automation while maintaining quality.
Openness to new types of pipelines and products, such as batch LLM processing of free text.
Exposure to or familiarity with streaming and batch data ingestion systems.
Demonstrable experience improving the performance, efficiency and usability of data models.
Experience translating business requirements from non-technical data users and downstream analytical teams into data products.
Desire to contribute to product development decisions through data architecture guidance and user insights.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and autonomous approach to work.

Nice to have:

Familiarity with Fivetran, Airflow, Snowflake, dbt and Plotly.
Experience working in fast-paced B2B SaaS or consumer marketplaces.

Obowiązki

Develop, test and maintain dimensional data models from first-party data, third-party APIs, SFTPs and other external sources.
Improve data model efficiency and performance, including ease of use, accessibility, runtimes and waste.
Establish and maintain ELT pipelines for the warehouse, mainly for Fresha’s B2B business and finance metrics.
Advise product development on the analytical implications of new feature releases and adjustments to existing models.
Coach engineers and analysts on using data models and maintaining codebases over the long term.
Analyse feature performance and support product operations through analytical queries and dashboards.
Develop data documentation to maintain consistency in understanding and communication across the team.
