Podsumowanie oferty

Shape the Next-Generation 911 / Emergency Call Handling (VNXT) platform, designing and operating real-time telecommunications systems. Lead architectural direction and hands-on implementation using Java, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS/Azure.

Wymagania

Proven Technical Leadership: 8–10+ years of software engineering experience leading complex, multi-system initiatives from architecture through deployment.
JVM Mastery: Deep, hands-on production expertise in modern Java and Spring Boot, Quarkus, or equivalent high-performance enterprise frameworks.
UI Tech: Knowledge of TypeScript and Angular to guide platform and API design.
Distributed Systems at Scale: Thorough understanding of concurrency, asynchronous messaging, event-driven design, data consistency models, microservices patterns, and resilient interfaces.
Cloud & Container Native: Hands-on experience architecting and operating workloads on Kubernetes, Docker, and public or private cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and OpenShift.
Strong DevOps & Telemetry Mindset: Practical experience with infrastructure as code, automated testing pipelines, and observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and ELK.
Pragmatic Decision-Making: Ability to assess trade-offs, make decisions under incomplete information, and balance operational reliability with long-term technological vision.
Fluent Communication: Professional written and spoken English proficiency for working with distributed engineering teams, platform stakeholders, and North American partners.

Nice to have:

Hands-on exposure to real-time media and signaling protocols: SIP, RTP, WebRTC, MSRP, Asterisk, or GStreamer.
Experience with low-level systems programming languages such as Rust or C++, or network performance tuning.
Background in telecom, fintech, or life-critical environments where five-nines uptime is a contractual requirement.

Obowiązki

Own end-to-end technical direction for high-throughput, low-latency call routing, media processing, and mission-critical signaling engines.
Break ambiguous, mission-critical problems into architectural milestones, build cross-team consensus, and guide initiatives through execution and delivery.
Design resilient distributed topologies across hybrid-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, bare metal, OpenShift) with zero-downtime deployments, self-healing mechanics, and fault isolation.
Promote telemetry-first practices, working with teams on CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, distributed tracing, and automated chaos/failover testing.
Write Architectural Decision Records (ADRs), conduct code and design reviews, and eliminate technical debt.
Coach senior and mid-level engineers in system design, software craftsmanship, and operational maturity.
Translate technical debt and architecture roadmaps into business value for executive leadership, while aligning with North American customers and peer teams.
