Podsumowanie oferty

Shape the technical direction and implement capabilities for VNXT, a Next-Generation 911/Emergency Call Handling platform. You will lead architecture and hands-on engineering for highly available, distributed telecommunications systems using Java, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.

Wymagania

8–10+ years of software engineering experience, with a track record of leading complex, multi-system initiatives from architecture through deployment.
Deep, hands-on production expertise in modern Java and Spring Boot, Quarkus, or equivalent high-performance enterprise frameworks.
Knowledge of UI technologies (TypeScript/Angular) to guide platform and API design.
Thorough understanding of concurrency, asynchronous messaging, event-driven design, data consistency models, microservices patterns, and resilient interfaces.
Hands-on experience architecting and operating workloads on Kubernetes, Docker, and public or private cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OpenShift).
Practical experience with infrastructure as code, automated testing pipelines, and observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and ELK.
Ability to assess trade-offs, make sound decisions with incomplete information, and balance operational reliability with long-term technological vision.
Professional written and spoken English proficiency.

Nice to have:

Hands-on exposure to real-time media and signaling protocols or technologies: SIP, RTP, WebRTC, MSRP, Asterisk, or GStreamer.
Experience with low-level systems programming languages such as Rust or C++, or network performance tuning.
Background in telecom, fintech, or life-critical environments where five-nines uptime is a contractual requirement.

Obowiązki

Drive Architectural Strategy: Own end-to-end technical direction for high-throughput, low-latency call routing, media processing, and mission-critical signaling engines.
Lead Complex Technical Initiatives to Completion: Break down ambiguous, mission-critical problems into architectural milestones, build cross-team consensus, and guide work through execution and delivery.
Engineer for Five-Nines (99.999%): Design resilient distributed topologies across hybrid-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/bare metal/OpenShift) with zero-downtime deployments, self-healing mechanics, and fault isolation.
Champion Modern DevOps & Observability: Promote telemetry-first thinking across the lifecycle; partner with teams on CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, distributed tracing, and automated chaos/failover testing.
Raise the Engineering Bar: Author Architectural Decision Records (ADRs), conduct code and design reviews, and systematically eliminate technical debt.
Mentor & Multiply: Coach senior and mid-level engineers in system design, software craftsmanship, and operational maturity.
Bridge Strategy and Reality: Translate platform technical debt and architecture roadmaps into business value for executive leadership, while aligning with North American customers and peer teams.
