Podsumowanie oferty

The role focuses on reliability and observability for a growing eCommerce platform. You will build monitoring with New Relic or comparable platforms such as Datadog, Grafana/Prometheus, or ELK.

Wymagania

3+ years of hands-on SRE, Platform, or Observability engineering, with a proven track record of building monitoring and observability from scratch—not just maintaining existing dashboards.
Deep, hands-on command of logs, metrics, and traces, and the judgment to know which to use in different situations.
Strong experience with modern observability platforms: New Relic (a strong plus), Datadog, Grafana/Prometheus, and log platforms such as Elasticsearch/OpenSearch (ELK).
Hands-on experience with distributed tracing and instrumentation using OpenTelemetry or vendor agents; able to instrument services and follow a request across service boundaries.
Ability to design symptom-based, actionable alerting tied to user impact and tuned to avoid noise and alert fatigue.
Ability to define and drive SLIs/SLOs, dashboards, and thresholds, and establish them where they do not yet exist.
Experience with observability-as-code, managing monitors, dashboards, and alerts declaratively using Terraform or similar.
Working knowledge of CI/CD (GitHub Actions), containers (Docker), and Azure, sufficient to instrument, deploy, and integrate observability independently.
Scripting experience in Python and/or Bash.
Good communication skills in English; works with the SRE lead and directly with development teams to instrument their services.
Ownership mindset; treats observability as a product and drives it forward proactively.

Nice to have:

Azure ACA.
OpenTelemetry Collector pipelines.
Observability cost control, including data volume, retention, and sampling.
Incident response and post-incident review experience.
Experience in e-commerce or high-traffic environments.

Obowiązki
