Podsumowanie oferty

Pack.com is expanding its gamified shopping platform with native iOS and Android apps. You will lead mobile app engineering, building gesture-driven unboxing experiences with TypeScript, React Native Reanimated, Gesture Handler, and Skia.

Wymagania

Required:

Production experience building and maintaining cross-platform mobile apps with React Native and TypeScript, including apps shipped to both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Hands-on production experience with React Native Reanimated (worklets and shared values) and Gesture Handler.
Ability to profile real devices using Xcode Instruments, Android Studio Profiler, and React Native DevTools to diagnose UI/JS thread contention and excessive memory use.
Hands-on experience with GraphQL and TanStack Query (React Query) for client caching, race conditions, mutations, and offline/reconnection state handling on unstable mobile connections.
Practical experience managing builds and submissions through Apple App Store Connect and the Google Play Console, configuring crash monitoring with Sentry, and managing OTA updates.
Interest in writing production code, optimizing performance, and shipping releases as an individual contributor in a tight engineering team, without people-management responsibilities.

Nice to have:

Experience with Shopify React Native Skia or custom canvas shaders.

Obowiązki

High-Dopamine Mobile Mechanics:

Architect tactile, gesture-driven interactions such as mystery pack tears, loot-box carousel reveals, card flips, and real-time drop tickers using TypeScript, React Native Reanimated, Gesture Handler, and Skia.

Frame-Rate & Native Performance:

Identify and eliminate thread bottlenecks, dropped frames, sluggish view hierarchies, and memory leaks across iOS and Android devices.

Resilient Data Layer:

Build mobile query pipelines with GraphQL and TanStack Query, handling optimistic cache updates, pagination, network dropouts, and reconnection reconciliation during live unboxings.

Dual-Store Release Operations:

Manage end-to-end deployment workflows for the Apple App Store and Google Play, using Expo (EAS), fastlane, Sentry, and OTA updates.

Native Bridges & New Architecture:

Use React Native’s New Architecture (Fabric, TurboModules) and connect custom native modules or haptics where JavaScript bridges hit performance limits.
