Podsumowanie oferty

You’ll lead a strategic initiative to build the next generation of shopping products that help consumers track deals and price changes. Starting with the Cently browser extension, you’ll shape the work with business stakeholders and deliver it with engineering teams, building across client applications and backend services with TypeScript.

Wymagania

Have led a substantial product or initiative spanning client applications and backend services, from an ambiguous start through launch and later improvements, as the sole engineer or in a small team; be able to explain the decisions made and their results.
Have built consumer-facing products and used analytics, experiments and user feedback to guide them.
Turn broad business needs into a practical plan, clarify requirements before building, question assumptions, and scope work by expected value and effort.
Have strong hands-on TypeScript skills designing, building and maintaining production applications across frontend and backend.
Have made architecture decisions and guided other engineers while staying hands-on.
Know system design, security, automated testing, CI/CD, observability and running production systems on a major cloud platform; the company runs on Microsoft Azure, and experience with AWS or GCP carries over.
Use AI in daily development and take responsibility for the correctness, security and maintainability of its output.

Nice to have:

Experience shipping a browser extension.
Experience leading initiatives that needed several teams to deliver.
Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
Side projects, startup experience, or ideas taken from nothing to launch.

Delivery:

Break broad goals into stages, identify dependencies and risks, guide other engineers, and keep everyone informed about progress and trade-offs.

Production:
