Podsumowanie oferty

Join a project team building a Kubernetes-based platform on Microsoft Azure, currently running on Google Cloud. You will analyse its existing infrastructure, build the Azure environment as code with Terraform, port platform components, and support customer application teams as they migrate their services.

Wymagania

4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud or platform engineering roles.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly AKS, networking, identity (Microsoft Entra, workload identity), Key Vault, Azure DNS and storage.
Good knowledge of Google Cloud (GCP), particularly GKE, IAM, Cloud DNS, storage and managed databases, sufficient to understand an existing GCP setup and map it to Azure.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including modules and a reviewed workflow.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, for example GitLab CI, with automated tests and releases.
Good knowledge of Kubernetes and Linux.
Experience with GitOps, for example Flux or Argo CD.
Experience with production-grade deployments.
Knowledge of a scripting language, for example Bash or Python.
Experience working with customers or technical stakeholders on a shared codebase.
Fluency in English (minimum B2 level).
Willingness to learn and face challenges requiring creativity, individual solutions and teamwork.
Readiness to work in an international environment with working hours that overlap with Central European Time.

Nice to have:

Experience with a migration between public clouds, or with multi-cloud Kubernetes.
Experience with Config Connector, Azure Service Operator, Crossplane or similar tools for managing cloud resources from Kubernetes.
Knowledge of secrets management with External Secrets, SOPS and cloud key management.
Experience with cert-manager, external-dns and ingress or load balancing on Kubernetes.
Experience with Atlantis, Nix or moon.
Knowledge of public cloud networking, including virtual networks, private clusters, NAT and VPN.
Microsoft Azure, HashiCorp Terraform or Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS).

Obowiązki

Analyse the existing GCP-based platform and cloud infrastructure code, and propose an Azure equivalent for every GCP dependency.
Design the target Azure environment, including subscriptions, networking, AKS, identity, secrets, DNS, container registry, storage and databases.
Build the Azure environment as code with Terraform through the customer's review and deployment flow.
Port platform components to AKS using the same GitOps workflow with Flux as on GCP, following existing per-provider patterns.
Prepare CI/CD changes and automation so every release is built, deployed and tested on Azure.
Help choose how to manage cloud resources from Kubernetes while avoiding new vendor lock-in, using options such as Azure Service Operator, Crossplane or Terraform.
Support the customer's application teams as they move their services, and fix platform issues they find.
Transfer knowledge to the customer's engineers through pairing, documentation and a final knowledge-transfer session.

Benefity

Professional growth supported by internal training sessions and a training budget.
Hands-on onboarding.
The ability to change the project you work on.
