Data Engineer

Data Reply, as part of the Reply Group, offers services to help customers become data driven. The team is active in various industries and business areas, working closely with clients to achieve meaningful results through effective data use. The experts focus on developing Streaming and Event-Driven applications, Data Platforms, and Machine Learning solutions that are automated, efficient, and scalable without compromising IT security.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with public cloud providers AWS and Azure
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks such as Spark, Kafka, Flink, and formats like Apache Iceberg
• Understanding of data modeling and warehousing techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication

Nice to have:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps practices, CI/CD, DBT, Databricks

• Design and implement robust, scalable data processing systems, including storage, schema design, and integration strategies
• Develop and maintain data transformation, integration, and ETL pipelines
• Monitor, tune, and optimize data applications and database performance
• Provide expert consultancy on data strategies, architecture, and technology
• Support analytics platforms and business intelligence solutions
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand requirements and deliver effective data engineering solutions

Availability to work in a hybrid mode with at least 2 visits to the office per month.
