UI Artist

• Ability to work with various visual genres to create UI design for games in styles specified by project art-direction
• Ability to create and edit UI animations; minimally UI animation in After Effects, nice-to-have in-engine UI animation
• Willingness to use new tools to complete relevant tasks
• Understanding quality requirements of AAA products
• Proficiency with UI design tools (Figma) and raster graphics software (Photoshop)
• Understanding of cross-platform games UI/UX specifics
• Ability for cross-department communication, including describing UI needs to developers and managers
• English language proficiency above intermediate

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of latest trends in games UI
• AAA games UI experience
• Experience with any game engine (Unreal Engine, Unity, etc.)
• Ability to create and present interactive prototypes in Figma
• Understanding of design system approach
• Familiarity with version control software

• Game UI development, including reworking existing screens and elements or creating new ones
• Gathering required project information as necessary
• Creating all necessary UI graphics in a given visual style
• Ensuring correct time estimates and delivering results within agreed time frames
• Collaborating with UX Designers, producers, and game designers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience
• Implementing UI into the game, working closely with Engineering and Tech Art teams
• Producing UI motion design and animations, including screen transition animations
