DevOps Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on Linux system administration experience (Oracle Linux / RHEL / CentOS).
• Strong scripting and programming skills: Bash, Python, and/or Go.
• Experience with automation frameworks: Puppet, Ansible, Foreman, and/or Katello.
• Code repository methodologies utilizing tools such as git.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware) and identity management (Centrify), Windows AD.
• Familiarity with database systems: Oracle, PostgreSQL, and/or MySQL.
• Experience in a 24/7 operations environment with follow-the-sun support model.
• Track record of leading technical projects and managing infrastructure initiatives from design through implementation.
• Designing and implementing opportunities discovered from identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
