• 8–12+ years in Salesforce delivery, including 3+ years in architecture or senior tech lead roles.
• Ability to lead solution design across multiple clouds, orgs, and environments.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem, product portfolio, editions, license types, and cost/feature trade-offs.
• Experience with data modelling and performance including LDV strategies, cross-cloud schemas, SOQL/SOSL optimization at scale.
• Knowledge of CRM Analytics, reporting architecture, data migration and quality strategies.
• Experience with complex multi-BU sharing architectures, Apex managed sharing, territory management.
• Knowledge of security and identity including Shield (encryption, event monitoring, audit trail), SSO, IdP/SP, MFA, cross-cloud identity federation.
• Experience with integration patterns, API governance, middleware (MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services), enterprise auth (OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT).
• Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, GCP and their interplay with Salesforce.
• Experience defining CI/CD pipelines, branching models, quality gates (SonarQube, PMD), and release readiness.
• Knowledge of backup and archiving strategies including DR strategies and archival products (Own, Odaseva, Grax, Big Objects).
• Experience with packaging strategies for modular and multi-org delivery.
• Ability to set configuration standards and enforce best practices between declarative and programmatic approaches.
• Experience with integrated ecosystem products commonly paired with Salesforce (DocuSign, Conga, CPQ, ERP connectors).
• Proven client-facing skills and ability to lead workshops.
• Proven cross-team and vendor leadership skills.
• Minimum 3–4 certifications on the Application/System Architect path; CTA journey started is a strong plus.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on comfort with LWC, Apex, SF CLI, and enterprise frameworks (fflib) for reviews and prototyping.
• Pre-sales and estimation experience (RFPs, technical due diligence).
• Exposure to Salesforce AI (Einstein, Agentforce) and Data Cloud.
• Industry cloud experience (FSC, Health Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud).

• Design and oversee the end-to-end architecture of complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and enterprise technical standards.
• Provide hands-on technical governance across the full project lifecycle from discovery and design through to deployment.
• Make critical decisions around platform configuration, custom development, data modeling, and third-party integrations balancing scalability, security, and performance.
• Lead end-to-end solution design across multiple clouds, orgs, and environments; own multi-org/multi-environment strategy and governance.
• Lead design workshops, present architectural options and recommendations to client stakeholders, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Work across multiple delivery teams and coordinate with external vendors/partners; drive architectural alignment, mentor dev/tech leads, and own technical governance across workstreams.
