Senior Financial Crime Intelligence Analyst - Crypto

BVNK is a company founded in 2021 focused on building stablecoin-native infrastructure to accelerate global money movement. They facilitate billions in transactions for enterprise clients and have global licenses and Tier 1 bank partnerships. The company has secured strategic investments from Visa and other leading investors and operates with a diverse team across EMEA, North America, and APAC.

• Minimum 3 years' experience in crypto transaction monitoring within a regulated institution or digital assets setting.
• Experience in a B2B context; B2C experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with sanctions and watchlist screening alerts.
• Experience using blockchain investigative tools such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, or TRM.
• Knowledge of AML/CTF regulations, financial crime typologies, and risk-based compliance frameworks.
• Experience drafting and submitting Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal English skills.
• Interest in digital assets and willingness to expand knowledge.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to streamline processes is desirable.
• Knowledge of Trade Surveillance is an asset.

• Review sanctions and watchlist screening alerts on entities and individuals.
• Manage end-to-end financial crime investigations from transaction monitoring systems, payment screening tools, and blockchain analytics.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and business processes using AI tools and automation.
• Receive escalations from and provide coaching to junior team members.
• Draft Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) for submission to authorities.
• Work closely with colleagues responsible for transaction monitoring systems, including testing rule changes.
• Seek and escalate opportunities to enhance BVNK's control environment.
