Mid-Level Business Analyst – Cybersecurity Endpoint Protection

This role is for a client in the financial industry, specifically within a global banking environment, focusing on cybersecurity and endpoint protection.

• At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related IT/security field.
• Strong understanding of endpoint protection technologies, EDR/XDR solutions, malware detection, and device hardening.
• Proven experience with endpoint protection platforms such as CrowdStrike or Trellix.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and security architecture frameworks.
• Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with DevOps tools and risk management.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical issues to diverse audiences.
• Ability to translate complex security requirements into clear functional documentation.

Nice to have:

• Certifications in cybersecurity, business analysis, or project management (e.g., CISSP, CSBA, PMI-PBA).
• Knowledge of global data protection regulations such as GDPR.
• Experience in large, multinational, highly regulated environments.

• Gathering, clarifying, and documenting business and technical requirements related to endpoint protection and malware prevention.
• Assisting in translating security needs into functional requirements, user stories, and process flows.
• Supporting deployment and configuration of endpoint protection platforms such as CrowdStrike and Trellix.
• Collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to define solution options and manage deployment.
• Participating in change management activities including training and communication.
• Managing the requirements lifecycle from inception to retirement and supporting continuous improvement.
• Providing expertise in Agile methodologies and DevOps tools like Jenkins and Ansible.
• Engaging with stakeholder feedback, risk management, and driving security posture improvements.
