Senior Scala Developer

• Minimum 6 years of commercial experience programming in Scala.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience building data processing systems, data ingestion, or data pipelines.
• Practical experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience integrating multiple data sources (API, event streaming, message bus).
• Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
• Good understanding of data normalization, transformation, and enrichment.
• Experience working with high availability and high throughput systems.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed environment.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Python for data processing.
• Experience with Django and API layer development.
• Knowledge of Go.
• Experience in trading domain, FX, Crypto, or Market Data.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture.
• Experience with low-latency systems.
• Knowledge of financial markets and investment instruments.

• Design and develop distributed data processing systems in Scala.
• Build and maintain microservices responsible for fetching, normalizing, and enriching market data.
• Integrate with external data providers via APIs, event bus, and data streams.
• Create and enhance REST APIs to provide data to clients and other systems.
• Optimize performance of systems processing large data volumes.
