Senior Mainframe Developer

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in IBM Mainframe application development and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, and z/OS.
• Practical experience with DB2 databases, including SQL development and query optimization.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and independently design and implement solutions.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues and optimizing applications.
• Proactive and self-driven with accountability for delivered solutions.
• Effective collaboration within international project teams.
• English proficiency at minimum B2 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD processes in Mainframe environments.
• Professional experience in banking, financial services, or insurance sectors.
• Knowledge of Mainframe modernization initiatives and AI-supported software development.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior developers.

• Develop and maintain IBM Mainframe applications supporting critical banking business processes.
• Analyze business requirements and design scalable solutions using COBOL, JCL, CICS, z/OS, and DB2.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues, optimize application performance, and implement enhancements.
• Collaborate with international project teams on modernization initiatives integrating Mainframe technologies with automation and AI-driven solutions.
• Support knowledge sharing and mentor less experienced developers.

English proficiency at minimum B2 level is required.
