Senior Test Automation Engineer

The company has a long-standing relationship with a leading financial group in the Nordic countries, executing over 60 projects for this major Norwegian financial services provider with global presence and a Scandinavian work culture emphasizing work-life balance and feedback. The client projects are executed in international teams with constant exposure to English.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing
• Strong background in test automation
• Advanced programming skills in Python
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework
• Solid SQL knowledge (mid-level or higher)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Familiarity with data formats such as XML, CSV, JSON
• Knowledge of ISTQB principles (certification is a plus)
• Good understanding of CI/CD concepts
• Experience working in an Agile environment

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of data processing concepts (ETL)
• Experience working with Unix/Linux systems
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins

• Work independently on moderately complex testing tasks within defined areas of expertise
• Test IT solutions in the financial domain
• Take partial ownership of smaller projects and assigned deliverables
• Proactively communicate potential risks and issues, and suggest effective solutions
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Apply CI/CD best practices in day-to-day work
