AI Engineering Manager (m/f/d)

InPost is one of Europe’s leading out-of-home (OOH) e-commerce enablement platforms, founded in 1999. It operates a network of over 64,000 Automated Parcel Machines (APMs) and more than 30,000 pick-up and drop-off points across nine European countries, supporting parcel delivery services and to-door courier and fulfilment services for ecommerce merchants.

• 7+ years of post-degree experience in software engineering.
• 7+ years leading and developing high-performing Agile engineering teams.
• 2+ years delivering impactful, large-scale machine learning or AI-powered products.
• Proven experience building backend platforms supporting multiple product lines.
• Strong understanding of modern AI technologies, LLM ecosystems, and agent-based architectures.
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across technical, product, and business functions.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or related field.

• Drive and help define the AI Engineering strategy supporting the company's consumer AI agenda.
• Lead multiple multidisciplinary engineering teams building AI-powered solutions.
• Establish best practices for AI-native product development, including evaluation frameworks, test sets, search systems, observability, and AI-focused CI/CD processes.
• Evaluate and introduce best-in-class open-source and commercial tools supporting MCP Servers, agent-to-agent communication, workflow orchestration, and AI development ecosystems.
• Enable teams to create innovative AI experiences including streaming interactions, long-running workflows, procedural UX, and intelligent automation.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing engineering culture focused on growth and continuous learning.
• Partner closely with product, technology, and business stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery and long-term innovation.

Remote cooperation within Poland is required.
