Senior / Principal / Sr. Principal Software Engineer (Cloud Platform)

This role involves leading the development of AI-native cloud platforms tailored for the financial services industry, focusing on enterprise-grade solutions and collaboration with product teams and AI specialists.

• 8+ years (Senior), 12+ years (Principal), or 15+ years (Sr. Principal) of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on coding expertise with modern backend technologies like Python, Java, or Go.
• Deep experience designing, building, and operating cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, resilience, performance optimization, and security.
• Proven track record of delivering high-reliability production systems using modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and monitoring.
• Excellent system design skills and effective technical communication.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kubernetes, microservices architecture, event streaming, or platform engineering.

• Exposure to AI/LLM platforms, agentic systems, or developer platforms.

• Background in fintech, enterprise SaaS, or highly regulated environments.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Extensive experience building enterprise-grade cloud applications within complex, regulated industries.

• Ability to work independently as a technical leader.

• Willingness to collaborate with diverse teams and adapt to evolving project needs.

• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS certifications) are a plus.

• Design and develop highly scalable, cloud-native platforms on AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP.
• Create distributed systems, APIs, event-driven services, and core platform components.
• Drive engineering excellence through clean architecture, rigorous testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and operational best practices.
• Own systems end-to-end—from initial design to production deployment and ongoing operations.
• Mentor fellow engineers, promoting technical excellence and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product teams and AI specialists to deliver enterprise-grade software solutions.
