Scala/Spark Developer

• Strong knowledge of Scala and Apache Spark (Senior mid-level).
• Experience with GitHub.
• Basic knowledge of Python and Apache Airflow.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience working in a Scrum environment.
• Good command of English, enabling effective communication and collaboration in an international environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of JUnit, TDD, or BDD.
• Experience with Jenkins.
• Understanding of Clean Code, SOLID, KISS, DRY principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Secure Code Warrior certifications.

• Design and develop data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Scala and Apache Spark.
• Analyze and process data within one of the world's largest Data Lakes.
• Develop and execute tests using Apache Airflow.
• Maintain and enhance existing code, including testing, refactoring, and bug fixing.
• Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders across Poland, the UK, and China.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning to production deployment.
• Support Product Owners in refining technical requirements and backlog items.
• Share knowledge and actively contribute to the growth and development of the team.
• Work in a Scrum environment and continuously contribute to improving team processes.
