Senior AI Research Scientist – Financial Industry

The position is for an AI research scientist role within a pioneering AI research team of a leading global investment bank, focused on transforming financial services with AI and machine learning.

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of AI/ML research and engineering industry experience.
• Proven expertise in building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in production.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience with natural language processing, deep learning, and time series analysis.

Nice to have:

• Experience in financial markets (equities or fixed income).
• Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or community involvement.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), or scalable ML infrastructure.

• Lead development and deployment of innovative AI/ML models for financial applications.
• Collaborate across teams on scalable AI solutions.
• Drive research in natural language processing, deep learning, and information retrieval.
• Optimize machine learning models for performance and production readiness.
• Improve AI infrastructure and processes.
• Mentor junior team members and foster innovation.
