Technical Product Manager - AI Neobank App

The company is expanding its product offerings in Asia to include spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling, and more, with a mission to make money smart, reliable, and accessible to everyone. • Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end with strong judgment and decisiveness under ambiguity.
• Solid technical foundation in system design including boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, and concurrency consistency.
• Ability to read, review, challenge design documents and sketch architectures and sequences.
• Experience in regulated or high-consequence domains such as payments, banking, remittance, or insurance, or fast ramp-up ability.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based AI products, including framing features for evaluation and understanding of hallucination, drift, data gaps, and model limitations.
• Nice to have: engineering or highly technical product management background, zero-to-one product experience, shipped AI-heavy consumer products, defined evaluation metrics for ML/LLM systems, AI UX and failure-handling intuition, Southeast Asia market experience.

• Own a vertical end-to-end product including outcomes, metrics, and backlog prioritization.
• Shape technical design with engineering addressing system boundaries, money-movement correctness, third-party dependencies, failure modes, security, latency, scalability, and recovery.
• Make and defend trade-offs involving correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and user experience.
• Treat regulated constraints (licensing scope, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, data residency, privacy) as first-class product inputs.
• Define and apply AI usage, including decision boundaries, human-in-the-loop points, evaluation methods, and handling uncertainties.
• Manage shipping features behind flags and coordinate go-live per partner and regulatory gate.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance/Reconciliation teams.

This is a remote role with a global hiring approach. Candidates must be comfortable working effectively in a distributed, fast-moving international team across multiple countries and time zones. Strong English communication skills are required.
