Business IT Analyst - Financial Services/ Insurance team

The role is part of the Accenture Insurance Poland practice, working with insurance and financial services organizations in Poland and Europe to support business and technology transformations including AI and Generative AI implementation.

• Minimum 1 year experience in Business Analysis, Business Process Design, or related roles.
• Basic understanding of the Polish insurance market, including trends, products, and processes.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and test management fundamentals.
• Experience in business process analysis and design.
• Knowledge of project management and delivery methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cooperating with business and IT stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Professional working proficiency in Polish and English, C1 level or above.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Full-time availability Monday to Friday.

Nice to have:

• Professional experience in the insurance sector.
• Hands-on experience with insurance core or back-office systems.
• Experience engaging senior business and IT stakeholders.
• Knowledge or experience in Target Operating Model (TOM) design.
• Experience in process improvement and optimization.
• Experience supporting technology-enabled transformation initiatives, including AI or Generative AI solutions.

• Conduct business analysis including requirements gathering, business process analysis, process mapping, and functional gap analysis.
• Analyze current business processes to identify improvement and transformation opportunities.
• Design new business processes tailored to client needs.
• Develop solutions using established methodologies and tools.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather and validate requirements.
• Support projects throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including implementation and testing.
• Participate in testing activities such as test scenario preparation, SIT/UAT support, solution validation, and defect management.
• Support implementation and change management activities.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation using tools like JIRA and Confluence.

The position is full-time with an employment contract (umowa o pracę). Work is hybrid based in Warsaw with 2–3 days per week in the office; work location may include remote, client site, or Accenture office depending on project needs.
