QA Engineer

Wakacje.pl is the largest e-commerce platform in Poland and a network of travel agencies offering a wide range of travel products. It operates within Wirtualna Polska Holding, the largest Polish group of media and e-commerce companies. The IT team consists of over 100 specialists including Developers, DevOps Engineers, Testers, Project Managers, Architects, and Analysts working in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

• 2 to 4 years of experience as a Tester
• Experience in testing CRM and/or e-commerce applications
• Ability to create test cases and documentation, and to report and analyze defects
• Knowledge of testing principles, techniques, processes, and software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with testing tools
• Experience with Postman
• Basic knowledge of HTTP protocol and REST APIs
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and curiosity
• Highly developed communication skills
• Initial experience in writing automated tests and willingness to develop
• English knowledge enabling comfortable use of technical documentation

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (Java/C#)
• Early experience with test automation using Selenium or Playwright
• Experience or willingness to implement and maintain automated Web/API tests
• Ability to prepare automated test scenarios using BDD approaches such as Cucumber or Gherkin

• Manual testing (minimum 70% of the time)
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for Web and API
• Writing and executing automated tests using Java, Selenium, RestAssured, and Playwright
• Performing manual exploratory testing when required
• Creating and maintaining test documentation, test cases, and bug reports
• Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects in cooperation with development teams
• Contributing to test strategy and improving test coverage
• Participating in team work planning and test effort estimation
• Analyzing test results and reporting quality metrics
• Collaborating with developers, QA engineers, and business teams during the development lifecycle
• Sharing testing knowledge and improving team quality practices
