C++ Developer/ Embedded Software Engineer

• Minimum 7 years of commercial experience in C++ programming including embedded or system projects
• Very good practical knowledge of C++ and experience in analysis, refactoring, and optimizing existing code
• Experience in development of embedded firmware and/or software
• Practical experience with MQTT protocol
• Knowledge of CMake
• Experience with OpenSSL and Protocol Buffers (Protobuf)
• Experience writing unit tests with GoogleTest and integration tests
• Experience debugging and maintaining complex C++ applications
• Experience with cross-platform solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive approach to tasks and technical collaboration
• English language proficiency at C1 level

Nice to have:

• Practical knowledge of Qt and QML
• Experience with Linux Embedded and cross-compilation processes
• Knowledge of Yocto
• Experience with CAN communication
• Knowledge of qmake, Boost, Cucumber, or RapidCheck
• Experience maintaining large multi-layered C++ projects
• Knowledge of Felgo framework
• Experience in Healthcare, Medical Devices, or IoT projects

• Develop and maintain firmware and embedded components in C++, handling device communication and data preprocessing
• Develop new features, refactor existing code, and reduce technical debt
• Maintain desktop application based on C++, Qt, and QML, including critical bug fixes
• Develop communication modules using MQTT and integrate devices within the IoT ecosystem
• Work with device communication using CAN bus
• Implement logic and data processing mechanisms at application and embedded layers
• Develop components using shared memory and interprocess communication (IPC) mechanisms
• Maintain and develop projects using CMake and qmake
• Create and develop unit and integration tests and debug complex C++ applications
• Analyze existing code, identify problems, propose and implement optimizations
• Collaborate with the architect and teams in Backend, Flutter, Frontend, QA, and DevOps
