System Engineer (Cloud / Microsoft Stack)

Winged IT is an international IT support company involved in providing system engineering support and managing IT infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft Server and Client environments.

• 3+ years of professional experience in system engineering or a similar role.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Server and Client environments.
• Hands-on experience with AD / Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of Python is considered an advantage.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), including VM management.
• Experience with cloud-based virtual desktop solutions is a big plus.
• Good understanding of IT security practices (endpoint protection, compliance, monitoring).
• Basic network troubleshooting skills are an advantage.
• Experience with release processes and DLP policies is optional.
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent professional training.
• Fluent English; knowledge of German or other languages is a plus.

• Provide 2nd- and 3rd-level support for complex IT issues, analyzing problems to find root causes.
• Ensure stability and performance of IT systems while proactively improving them through automation and best practices.
• Maintain documentation and task tracking in Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Coordinate and support application and infrastructure releases with well-documented deployments.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of IT security measures, including endpoint protection (Microsoft Defender) and compliance monitoring.
