Azure Cloud Architect

Accenture is a leading global professional services company offering solutions and assets across Strategy & Consulting, Technology, Operations, Industry X, and Accenture Song. The role is part of the Accenture Cloud First team focusing on cloud transformation projects for international enterprise clients using Microsoft Azure.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud infrastructure engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, supported by advanced/expert-level Azure certifications.
• Ability to oversee development teams, plan tasks, and translate technical requirements into actionable backlogs.
• Experience designing and planning highly available systems and Disaster Recovery strategies.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications within a Landing Zone architecture.
• Strong understanding of container technologies and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and AKS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.
• Solid grasp of virtualization technologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DevOps culture, practices, and tools including Jenkins, Git/GitLab, Pipelines, Helm charts, and ArgoCD.
• Ability to develop scripts or applications using languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience in cost/resource calculations and cloud optimization.
• Enterprise architecture experience within public cloud environments, including migration and onboarding management.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and managing incidents, requests, changes, and problems.
• Upper-intermediate level proficiency in English and Polish.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with modern programming languages such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, Node.js, React, .NET, Python, or Java.
• Expertise in Azure service categories like Azure systems infrastructure and App Services.
• Experience in technical sales or pre-sales activities.
• Kubernetes Developer or Security-oriented certification.

• Design end-to-end architectures for cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Landing Zones, governance, and security models.
• Define and implement compute environments, including autoscaling, load balancing, serverless solutions, Azure database services, and CI/CD pipelines integrated with on-premises services.
• Design cloud-native networking components (VNETs, peering, firewalls, container networking) and security & compliance controls (IAM, resource hierarchy, data security, cost management).
• Implement monitoring, logging, profiling, and alerting solutions to ensure reliability and observability.
• Prepare migration approaches and onboarding plans to Azure, including effort estimation, cost/resource calculations, and optimization scenarios.
• Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to apply Infrastructure as Code and automation practices, improve delivery pipelines, and support a mature DevOps culture.
• Lead or support incident, request, change, and problem management activities, acting as a trusted technical advisor for client stakeholders.
