Tech Lead Data Platform

IT Factory is hiring for a role responsible for Cloud Data Platform architecture in a large financial organization. The position combines technical leadership and data architecture expertise.

• 7 to 10 years of IT experience, including 3 to 5 years in a Tech Lead or similar role
• Experience building data platforms in enterprise environments
• Experience implementing core insurance systems for claims and benefits (EIS or Guidewire)
• Strong knowledge of data architecture and modeling, including Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
• Practical knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Event Hub or equivalent solutions
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Big Data technologies
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and deployment automation
• Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality
• Experience in technical team leadership

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI/ML and preparing data for AI solutions
• Experience in event-driven architectures
• Microsoft Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect certifications
• Knowledge of Data Mesh and Domain Driven Design

• Designing and developing the data platform architecture and defining architectural and implementation standards
• Making key technology decisions
• Coordinating team activities, code reviews, and architectural reviews
• Supervising Silver and Gold data layers ensuring data quality, consistency, and security
• Developing data products for reporting, analytics, and AI solutions
• Collaborating with architects, analysts, and Product Owners
