Lead Cloud Engineer - AI Agent

• 5+ years experience in IT operations managing infrastructure, services, and technical issue resolution
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure AI Foundry and Azure Policies
• Hands-on experience with Copilot Studio or similar AI orchestration platforms
• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or API integration patterns
• Solid grasp of IT operations fundamentals: monitoring, incident management, availability, cost control, reliability
• Experience with AI agent lifecycle management from intake to decommissioning
• Ability to work across security and compliance boundaries, implementing guardrails and upholding policies
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
• Interest or understanding of AI governance frameworks and practical implementation

• Play a leading role in monitoring, managing, and optimizing AI-related IT infrastructure and services to ensure performance, security, and availability
• Own intake of AI agents and automations into managed infrastructure
• Maintain portfolio of AI agents and automations including cost control, reliability, monitoring, and issue resolution
• Build and maintain connectors for effective use of AI tools across the organization
• Develop and implement IT operational processes for efficient operations and incident resolution in the Enterprise AI area
• Support transition of routine tasks to the Operations Center
• Keep AI infrastructure and tools compliant with security policies and industry regulations, including implementing guardrails such as Azure Policies and Copilot Studio guidelines
• Collaborate with business units and AI Enablement team for seamless execution
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior IT operations specialists fostering a collaborative environment
