Azure Synapse Analytics Consultant

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Azure Databricks.
• Very good knowledge of PySpark and PySpark SQL.
• Practical experience working with Azure Data Lake.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with complex datasets.
• Ability to understand business processes and functional requirements.
• Experience translating business requirements into data, analytics or technical solutions.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and a high level of attention to detail.
• Very good command of English to communicate effectively in an international project environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with packaging data, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) or related sustainability / regulatory data processes.

• Design, develop and enhance data and analytics solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics / Databricks.
• Work with large datasets using PySpark and PySpark SQL.
• Develop and maintain data processing and transformation logic within the Azure ecosystem.
• Work with Azure Data Lake and related data storage and integration components.
• Analyse data, identify patterns, inconsistencies and data quality issues, and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Understand business processes and requirements and translate them into appropriate technical and analytical solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Proactively identify potential improvements, risks and gaps in existing data solutions.
• Ensure high quality and accuracy of delivered solutions, with strong attention to detail.
