C++ Developer/ Embedded Software Engineer

• Minimum 7 years of commercial programming experience in C++, including embedded or system projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of C++ with experience in code analysis, refactoring, and optimization.
• Experience developing firmware and/or embedded software.
• Practical experience with MQTT protocol.
• Knowledge of CMake build system.
• Experience with OpenSSL and Protocol Buffers (Protobuf).
• Experience creating unit tests using GoogleTest and integration tests.
• Experience debugging and maintaining complex C++ applications.
• Experience implementing cross-platform solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive approach to tasks and technical collaboration.
• English language proficiency at C1 level.

Nice to have:

• Practical knowledge of Qt and QML.
• Experience with Linux Embedded and cross-compilation.
• Knowledge of Yocto.
• Experience with CAN communication.
• Familiarity with qmake, Boost, Cucumber, or RapidCheck.
• Experience maintaining large multilayer C++ projects.
• Knowledge of Felgo.
• Experience with projects in Healthcare, Medical Devices, or IoT.

• Develop and maintain firmware and embedded components in C++ responsible for device communication and data preprocessing.
• Develop new functionalities, refactor existing code, and reduce technical debt.
• Maintain desktop applications based on C++, Qt, and QML, including critical bug fixes.
• Develop communication modules using MQTT and integrate with IoT devices and ecosystem components.
• Work with device communication using controllers like CAN bus.
• Implement application and embedded-layer logic and data processing mechanisms.
• Develop components using shared memory and IPC mechanisms.
• Maintain and develop projects using CMake and qmake.
• Create and expand unit and integration tests; debug complex C++ applications.
• Analyze existing codebase to identify issues and apply optimizations.
• Collaborate with architects and teams across Backend, Flutter, Frontend, QA, and DevOps.
