Engineering Manager

Cisco's Webex Engineering Group develops collaboration products such as Slido, Webex Meetings, Webex Calling, and Webex Contact Center. The team operates in Krakow with a hybrid work model.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3+ years in a formal leadership or management capacity.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams within a SaaS or cloud-based environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of modern web technologies, scalable API design, and cloud-native architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-functional projects and consistently deliver high-quality software on schedule.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire diverse, distributed teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience in defining and executing technical roadmaps aligning with organizational goals.
• Success in managing stakeholder relationships at senior levels.
• Experience architecting or managing large-scale, distributed systems or SaaS platforms.
• Strong track record of coaching and developing high-performing engineering teams.
• Experience leading teams through organizational change or adopting new technologies such as integrating AI tools.
• Prior experience in collaboration, partner-facing portals, or B2B SaaS space.

• Act as the Service Owner for Partner Hub, accountable for service health, reliability, security, operational readiness, and lifecycle management.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers focused on the Partner Hub platform.
• Drive the technical roadmap and delivery of features that enhance partner productivity and platform scalability.
• Foster an agile, high-velocity development environment while maintaining high standards for code quality and system reliability.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Champion engineering excellence, including CI/CD practices, security, and observability.
