Software Developer 2027

IBM is engaged in improving disaster preparedness and providing more accurate medical solutions globally. The role involves working in a broad multi-national Agile team developing software with a focus on data governance.

• Final year student or B.Sc. university graduate of Computer Science or equivalent
• Knowledge and experience in JavaScript frontend programming using the React technological stack (React, Redux, React hooks, lint, webpack) or Java backend programming (Springboot)
• Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux operating system
• Working experience with using Git version control
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good command of English

• Design and develop software in an Agile team
• Review designs and technical documentation
• Maintain product quality including writing automated tests
• Collaborate with a broad multi-national team to contribute effectively to the product
• Take ownership and engage actively in the entire product lifecycle, from quick fixes to full feature development
